God’s Guidance About Pigs

Friends, God knows what is good for us and what is bad for us. In this article, we will learn why we should not eat pigs. God wants everyone to be healthy.

Therefore, our food and drink are very important in God’s eyes. It is written in the Bible, 1 Corinthians 10:31, ‘So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Since God made us, who can tell us about our bodies better than God? God forbids eating camels, rabbits, and pigs.

The meat is sold in a variety of ways, such as sausage, pizza, and mixed dishes. God created pigs as scavengers, meaning they are made to function as cleaning animals, so that they can help keep our environment and surroundings clean.

Pigs Food

A pig always bites into dirty things, even garbage, and it may even eat its own offspring. It is written in the Bible, Leviticus 11:7, ‘The pig has evenly split hooves but does not chew the cud; it is unclean.

‘ In biblical times, people did not even consider eating pigs because they were seen as filthy animals. The pig’s digestive system is very weak; it digests what it eats in four hours, then regurgitates it, and eats again. There is a lot of fat in its body, which contains very dangerous bacteria and toxins.

When we compare pigs to other animals like cows, buffaloes, and goats, we notice significant differences. These animals do not consume dirt; instead, they eat clean green fodder. Their digestive systems are also efficient.

Unlike pigs, neither cows nor buffaloes eat their young. All these animals take about 24 hours to digest their food, while a pig takes only four hours. This stark contrast illustrates the significant difference between them.

Humans can easily flush out toxins and bacteria through the toilet, and within 24 hours, they are excreted.

It is written in Bible Matthew chapter 7 verse 6

Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces

Friends, modern science has released a report about the dangers of eating pork. If you read more about it, scientists took 198 pig samples from around the world and tested them from different countries

They found that 70 percent of these 198 pig samples were completely useless and full of toxins, which are harmful to health. According to the World Health Organization, this is a meat that can also cause brain cancer.

You might say, ‘But I’ve been eating it for many years, and nothing has happened to me.’ However, the Bible says that you should not be deceived.

These diseases are hidden within it. Many times, they get transferred to your children without even affecting you, and then you wonder what happened to the child. God has forbidden you from eating all such things, but you’ve enjoyed the taste and have never listened to God.

It’s written in the Bible, Isaiah 66:17: ‘Those who consecrate and purify themselves in a sacred garden with its idol in the center, feasting on pork, rats, and other detestable meats, will come to a terrible end,’ says the Lord.

It is written in Bible Mark chapter 5 verse 16

Those who had seen it described to them how it had happened to the demon-possessed man, and all about the swine

Friends, Lord Jesus Christ did not promise us that we can eat everything. If Jesus had explained this, his disciples would have understood it. He knows what is right for us and what is wrong for us. So, we should follow the word of God. Amen.”
