Prayer Mean

Prayer mean to talk with God We cannot imagine life without Prayer and one such important aspect is prayer, which no Christian can deny. Prayer is a way of fostering our relationship with God and communicating with Him. God has created the whole world, and through prayer, we can communicate with Him.

But friends, do you know that if you pray with the right attitude, then your prayers will reach God, and if you pray with the wrong attitude, those prayers may not help you reach God? That’s what we are going to discuss in this article. If you are still engaging in such prayers, then you should consider changing your prayer style.

How to Prayer

The first thing we are going to discuss is not Praying with a proud heart. When someone is proud of themselves or their abilities, they tend to focus on themselves rather than God. Prophet Jacob also wrote in James chapter 4, verse 6, which is a famous verse in the Bible: “But he giveth more grace. therefore it says  God resists the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

It is written in Luke chapter 18, verse 10, “Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, ‘God be merciful to me a sinner.’ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one who exalts himself will be humble but he who humbles himself will be exalted

Friends, whenever you come to God in your prayers, come with humility, knowing that God does not favor proud hearts. Don’t pray with a fake attitude. Many times, we see others praying loudly, and we immediately copy them.

Jesus taught about prayer in Matthew chapter 6, verse 5-6: “And when you pray you shall not be  as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward

But thou, when you pray enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly The third thing is, friends, don’t pray with doubt.

Whenever you pray to God, have faith that God hears and answers prayers. Sometimes people don’t wait for God’s plan and start trying their own solutions. Remember, God always answers prayers, sometimes immediately and sometimes we have to wait and show patience

It is written in Luke 11:13, “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?”

Don’t pray only for your own will. We all have desires and needs, and there’s nothing wrong with praying for them. But above all, pray for God’s will to be fulfilled in your life. Let God lead you, and you will realize how much better life becomes. Jesus Christ exemplified this in his life.

He knew he was facing a terrible and painful death and prayed, “O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.”

Jesus Christ taught us how to pray, emphasizing that God’s will should be done on earth as it is in heaven. Always pray with gratitude. No matter what situation you are in, always thank God for His blessings. Psalm 95:2 says, “Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.”

Every day is an opportunity to glorify God, so never pray without thanksgiving. A good prayer can connect us with God, so our prayers should be faithful, and God will hear us. God bless you.
